Every class, learning space and school space has a forum that can be used for all discussion purposes. By default teachers create a forum thread and all users with access to that group can reply. all replies are moderated. These settings can be adjusted.
In forums replies are created in the full editor and can therefore be in full multimedia. Attach files to a forum post where you want other forum members to view and comment on the file. This is ideal for peer review of work.
- Go to your group’s menu and select ‘View’ > ‘Forum’
- Choose ‘New thread’
- Create your forum post. Remember you can add pictures, videos and audio files as well as attaching files to your forum post.
- When you have finished your post, click ‘Create thread’
- You can also access forums from the Quick Links menu
